Down Canyon Trail Project

The Down Canyon Trail Project aims to connect June Lake Village to the Double Eagle Resort and is our most ambitious project yet.  This is a complicated project with many facets and challenges, and is progressing slowly, but remains a long-term goal. More information on this project will be provided as it becomes available.

Volunteer Trail steward Program

JLTC volunteers are out regularly on local trails throughout the hiking season doing basic trail maintenance. Contact us if you are interested in contributing to regular trail maintenance. JLTC maintains a cache of tools that are available to volunteers who are interested in helping maintain trails. We report volunteer hours to the Forest Service under our Volunteer Service Agreement, so please let us know if you are out maintaining trails so we can let you know how to report your time contributions to us.

Gull Lake Trail Project

The Gull Lake Trail Project was completed in 2008 with the help of the US Forest Service and Friends of Inyo.
